The Japan Golden Route is our most highly recommended sightseeing course of Japan, involving visits to Mt. Fuji and Nikko from Tokyo before taking the Tokaido Shinkansen to Kyoto. This particular course allows you a chance to explore this route while also visiting Hiroshima, the first city in the world to suffer the effects of a nuclear bomb. (Roundtrip)

Guide English-speaking guide service (except while on board the bullet train) on Day 2-7 and English assistant service at the point of transfer on Day 1, 5, 7, and 8 (and Day 9 for the round trip plan) is included.
Baggage Your baggage will be transported from Tokyo to Kyoto on Day 4. Each person will be allowed one piece of baggage. For overnight stays in Hakone, we recommend that you carry a light overnight bag. Additional baggage will require an extra fee of JPY 2,200 per item. Each person will be allowed one piece of baggage for the seat sharing van from Kyoto to Kansai Airport. Additional baggage will require an extra fee of JPY 1,000 per item.

REMARKS

1. On Monday, Friday, and when the Imperial Palace East Gardens is closed, we will visit the Imperial Palace Plaza instead on Day 2.
2. Please inform us if you would like to book a different tour for Day 8 of the Round Trip Plan.
3. Guests are allowed to leave the tour at Itami Airport. If you would like to do so, please let us know upon booking.

Remarks for Nikko Tour
1. Overcrowding is predicted during the autumn foliage season from October 11-November 4. In the case of traffic jams on Irohazaka (Winding Road), the tour will visit the Rinnoji Temple Taiyuin Mausoleum, Futarasan Jinja Shrine, Kirifuri Waterfall, or Nikko Tamozawa Imperial Villa instead of visiting Lake Chuzenji and Kegon Waterfall.
2. Due to traffic or road conditions, even during times other than the period mentioned above, the tour may visit alternate locations as described in 1. No refunds will be given even if visiting locations are changed.
3. The tour will not be canceled or refunded even if you are unable to fully view Lake Chuzenji and Kegon Waterfall due to weather conditions.
4. Earphone guidance may not be used if the number of participants is less than 15.
5. If a tour participant damages or loses an earphone guidance device, he/she may be charged for compensation (JPY 10,000).

Remarks for Mt. Fuji-Hakone Tour
1.Multilingual audio guides are available in Korean, Chinese, German and Spanish. They will be provided free of charge. We recommend that you make requests in advance to enjoy this special service. Units may not be available if your request is made at the last minute. One unit or more will be provided per group. (Depending on the conditions at the time your request is made, it may not be possible to provide one unit per person.)
2. The Mt. Komagatake Ropeway is skipped on the following days due to traffic conditions: May 2, 5, July 18, 23, 24, 30, 31, August 6, 7, 20, 21, 27, 28, September 3, 10, 19, 25, October 1, 10, 15, 22, 29, 30, November 5, 12, 19, and December 30.
3.When the Fuji Visitor Center is closed or if the tour is behind schedule due to traffic conditions, the Fuji Visitor Center may be skipped.
4.The road to Mt. Fuji 5th station is sometimes closed due to heavy snows in the winter and the early spring. If this is the case, or if the tour is behind schedule, you will go to the highest possible point.
5.The tour will not be cancelled nor refunded if you are unable to see the full view of Mt. Fuji due to weather conditions.
6.Although the Komagatake Ropeway, Hakone Ropeway or the cruise on Lake Ashi may be omitted or substituted for as a result of traffic and weather conditions or other operational reasons, the tour will not be canceled nor will the tour fee be refunded. In the case that one or both of the destinations are omitted, you will enjoy one of the following alternatives: Narukawa Art Museum in Hakone, Hakone Check Point, Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone Shrine and Hakone Ropeway (Owaku-dani Valley). Your tour guide will finalize alternatives based upon careful consideration of tour logistics and other conditions.
7. Your tour guide may not accompany you back to Tokyo after Odawara Station for operational reasons.

Remarks for the Kyoto Morning Tour and Nara Afternoon Tour
Kyoto Morning Tour
1. Nijo Castle: On Tuesdays in Jan., Aug. and Dec., Nijo Castle is closed and you will visit Ryoanji Temple instead.
2. Kyoto Imperial Palace: On Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and some other days, the Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed and you will visit the Nishi Hongwanji Temple instead. You are required to fill out a form (your name, sex, age, nationality), when you enter the Kyoto Imperial Palace.
Nara Afternoon Tour
1. At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour includes the regular areas and does not include entrance to areas requiring admission.
2. If Nara Nagomikan is closed, the tour will visit another souvenir shop.
